The author of this book is a retired college professor of science who taught the "science of nutrition" for 30 years. For six years Professor Bateman was an active member of the North American Association for Nutrition and Preventive Medicine. During his tenure at Miami-Dade College he received outstanding teaching awards five times. His diverse interests took him into the field of Biotechnology (Gene science). He never stopped his love of nutrition. His often-gentle teaching methods have changed the lives of a many. Now, after 12 years of retirement, the book is complete in which he shares his passion for good health with others.
