This book can be used by managers of all levels, in large or small groups and as individual study to help promote ideas for effective leadership in the organization. The book can also be used by those desiring to become a manager by helping prepare them for the responsibilities of management. Whether I have been a manager or an individual contributor, I have seen good and bad management styles. I have been in positions where I loved going to work and performed very well as a result. I have also had positions that I dreaded and felt Corporate Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (CPTSD as I call it), fearing my manager and waiting for the next firestorm. This book's purpose is to prevent common mistakes manager's make and also help provide the knowledge and skills necessary to improve manager and employee relationships. By applying the principles presented in this book it is hoped there will be an increase in efficiencies in many areas, resulting in happier employees and increased profits.
