Addiction is a very arduous thing for anybody. Looking from the outside in at the addict it may seem as if they are happy living this lifestyle. That couldn't be further from the truth. Couple that with autism and trauma; you end up with a recipe for disaster that washes everyone involved away. The recovery process, not only affects the addict, but all that are involved. Everyone concerned needs to recover, and that all starts with knowledge of the subject. This is a personal tale of tragedy, drug and alcohol abuse, crime, and testing the limits of mental health. This is the story of an alcoholic/addict that is living out his process in Durango, Colorado. He has lived all of the aforementioned, and hopes to give the next person a little bit of insight in to how the addict brain works.
