The title of this book, Silent Words, really was something I thought about when I began retracing my memories. As you will discover, most of my challenges were the results of not being heard and understood. Therefore, this book is for the voiceless, for those who were looked down upon, for those who were told they could not and would not amount to anything, and for those who seek empowerment. I hope those of you who read my words will be touched in some way. My story is not that deep, not that terrible. Nevertheless, it is my story, and now it's time that I share it with someone.
