Whether you are a military, blended, adoptive or foster family, your separation story might look different from others but the hope we have in Christ is universal. Waffles' Guide to Survival will give a look at a small fox who has ventured away from home for the first time to attend summer camp. Waffles' journey is rife with adventure but also addresses the challenges he faces throughout the separation from his mom. As you go through the story, each week there is an assigned scripture that ties to Waffles' challenges and every night there is a practical application question or activity and a prayer prompt. At the end of each week we challenge you to go on a free and easy-to-accomplish adventure and write a letter to the special someone that is missed. Our intent with this devotional to encourage you with scriptures, challenge you to acknowledge and discuss emotions and seek joy and adventure in this tough season.
