Who Touched Me? Joy Hilsman Thomas

People crowd and press against us every day, so that we are affected physically, emotionally, and/or spiritually. Typically, we go on with life, unbothered, unaware that anything extraordinary has happened except that we have encountered an individual or experienced an event. There are those times, however, when someone's touch or an outside influence alters something within, and we know beyond human perception that we have been affected. We know because the power goes out from us, or moves into us. We sense it, and we are changed. The following few essays represent some of those times. Instances when power reveals that I have been touched.
