"Send Me" is the 5th and last novel in a series called "Witnesses", which creates a picture of part of America's heritage, from the late 17th century to the recent past. It includes stories about warfare and recovery, crisis and healing, evil and the courage to overcome it. In "Send Me", long-standing conflicts resolve, Paul Kingsley, the writer who explores America's heritage, achieves most of what he set out to do, and his editor, Stephanie Markham, finds stability and satisfaction after times of trouble and turmoil.
