A strange telephone call from an unknown foreign intermediary is made to Tom Briggs, a former USA marine and CIA specialist and now a free-lance journalist crime investigator. A most challenging assignment - to locate the legendary long-lost treasure plundered by the Nazi Third Reich during World-War II - is extended to Tom, and his partner Paul Machen, a former UK government geologist and present day treasure hunter.
