Losing anyone from your life is difficult. No matter the reason: relocating, the end of a relationship, death. There is a void, an emptiness that we create because of the absence of them. Things you did together seem wrong. We punish ourselves by not enjoying them anymore. Why do we do this? Why are we scared to be happy? Are we miss-wired as humans? Why is it so hard for us to celebrate the good times? We dwell on the bad or the void, becoming self-involved and forgetting or shunning everything and everyone around us.
