This book is designed not only to bring understanding about grief, but to give readers the opportunity to reflect on how their grief is affecting them, and then develop a plan for working through and finding healing beyond their own grief. The book is set up into six sessions, which is very useful for both grief groups and individuals. The questions, surveys, and spaces designed for reflection and setting goals is to make this program more interactive. The process of writing thoughts and goals down will allow a person to review and keep on task for working through set goals. The book material comes from a Christian perspective, from a viewpoint that grief impacts the physical body, the soul/mind, and the spirit of a person. For true healing beyond grief to take place a person must heal in all three areas.
