This book is a children's picture novel. There are 16 highly skilled, beautifully done pictures of Santa Claus and elves. Much of the story takes place at night, with storms, and flying reindeer. It is intended for children ages 3 - 10 years of age. This story is about Mr. and Mrs. Claus living at the North Pole, and it is set in a time before the elves lived there with them. The focus of the story is that Santa can make the lives of the elves and their community safer and better, and the elves likewise can help Santa. They choose to live together at the North Pole. The story is the adventure they share together and the realization that they are better together than apart. It is an exciting story!
