Early in the eighth century BCE the king of ZHOU was an atrocious tyrant who abused his courtiers and oppressively exploited his people. The people responded by rising up and forcing this king into exile. When he died in exile his son succeeded him to the throne. This is a story of the new king, his son and successor, and a young woman who for her private reasons harbored strong hatred for the royal house and sought their demise by means of the only weapon she thought she had - her powers of seduction.
