"After the Party" is Roger McKasson's third published short story book. The story takes place the morning after a party at Robert's house and involves the three couples that were at his party. Two couples are married and the third is Robert and his girlfriend Megan. During the party, a meditation takes place, which is led by Robert, with his friend Kim. This meditation is different than any other, in that, Robert has special abilities. What ensues during and following that meditation, has lasting effects on everyone that was present at the time. Personal and individual secrets are revealed, even for Robert. The story is told in four distinct short stories about relationships that are interconnected because of the meditation.
