Arte de El Muerto
Javier Hernandez
El Muerto, star of a cult comic book series and an award-winning independent film, now appears in his first art book, ARTE DE EL MUERTO. Featuring a variety of mediums, Javier Hernandez's supernatural superhero is explored through pencil sketches, color drawings, production art and some other rare pieces. Combining Aztec mythology with Mexico's Day of the Dead folk art, El Muerto allows his creator to explore themes of culture, mortality, fatalism and what it means to be a hero in a haunted world.
