In blues a blue note (also known as a "worried note") is a note that - for expressive purposes - is sung or played at a slightly different pitch than standard. In this sequel Katie faces peer pressure. Fitting-in can be devastating for a young adult, and Katie does not want to conform to what the others are doing. But when she finds herself going along - to get along she starts to question her choices. She wants to be a part of the group and remain true to herself, at the same time.
