Reality and dreams are not so far apart in the Walker community. Walkers are gifted individuals who can physically enter and manipulate their dreams. Nick Westbrook is one of these individuals. After receiving an invitation to an inconspicuous club, his dreams start to become reality. Unfortunately, so do his nightmares. The literal embodiments of fear threaten to destroy his life and the lives of those around him. These misty fiends are known as Shades and seem to be roaming around in the real world with unknown intent. The Walkers must face their fears and charge into battle to defeat the one who controls the spectral fiends; they must defeat the King of Shades.
