EASY PARENTING FOR ALL AGES - A GUIDE FOR RAISING HAPPY STRONG KIDS is a book about bringing children up with love, gentleness, light and joy in a fast-paced, rapidly changing and often unkind world. It is the consolidation of my thirty-year parenting experience as my youngest child, Georgina, turns sixteen. Georgina and her father contribute their insights and strategies to this book. Included with this book is BAREFOOT IN THE CITY - RAISING SUCCESSFUL FREE-RANGE ORGANIC KIDS that chronicles the everyday lives of the Perry children living a sweet existence in the middle of a bustling city. There are roadmaps at the end of each main section of the book to help you implement some of our more successful strategies as well as little exercises in introspection to assist you in formulating your own best practices. This book is made richer by the contributions of parents, teachers and young adults who wrote so eloquently about their lives. EASY PARENTING FOR ALL AGES and BAREFOOT IN THE CITY contain my parenting philosophy, developed jointly with the father of my children, and our heart-led way of life. Parenting is the most important thing I have ever done and within the pages of these two deeply personal books, my mistakes and triumphs are laid bare as are the lessons learned. My children are: Nicolas is an investment banker, Kit is a Lieutenant in the Royal Navy, Katerina is an interior designer, Jack is a property developer and Georgina is still at school. She plays football for BISP Cruzeiro and hopes to study Medicine at University.
