Paige Vaughn needs a better paying job and a cheaper place to live if she hopes to finish her college degree in interior design. No way will she ask her parents for help. Cooper Jennings, dealing with multiple surgeries after an NFL career ending injury, needs a Personal Assistant to get his design business up and running. Concerned that his parents are putting their lives on hold to care for him during his multiple surgeries, he hopes a fake girlfriend will convince his them he will be well cared for after his next surgery. He is convinced the perfect solution will be to hire his classmate and friend, Paige, thus solving both their problems. However, his perfect plan unravels when their families assume he and Paige are engaged.
