After a lifetime of mistakes and bad relationships, like colors on a palate and music I can never quite duplicate, she comes. And, I'm willing to do anything, even risk my freedom, to be with her. For, she puts the ghosts to rest and all the other colors and music of love gone wrong fades silently, finally, into the background. And, it is only her shade of purple and the sweet, sweet sound of her steps through my apartment. Oh, how I love that sound.
