Becoming to Being is a series of poems and accompanying illustrations that show the raw and rough side of teenage life living in a small-town suburbia and the subsequent spiritual journey. Through trauma, tragedy, and tough luck, we find gratitude, greatness, and the goodness of all. She exemplifies the empowerment of pain and emphasizes that through the greatest grief, we will find our greatest selves.
