Perennial Carla Sofia Barjan

Perennial is a collection of poems of a year of my life. There's hurt, and there's joy. There's growth. There's love. There's anger. There are poems that I wrote in 15 minutes. There are poems that took me the whole year. I hope you find as much meaning in my poetry as I have this past year. This book has made me the person I am today. It has helped me through issues I never imagined as a child I would have to deal with. If I hadn't written these thoughts down I would still be dwelling with myself. I want teens that have been through what I have to know that they're not alone. I want this book to resonate with people; I want it to connect with anyone who wants to read it. I don't want others to have the same boundaries I once created for myself.
