Continuing the Jillian Scott saga, a new murder case has been handed to her. Julie Swanson, a young trashy type of woman has been found brutally murdered and her body crucified on a cross. During the case, Jillian's ego is tested, as Olivia Grayson, her equal from another station, is brought in as her partner. Jillian holds resentment, but her role as Detective brings her to her senses, and while the mystery of the murderer's identity is unravelled, her personal life takes a knock when a new kind of threat presents itself.
