Author Tim Murphy looked under the hood of the first "Flannel John's Cookbooks for Guys" and decided to tune it up. He's added more recipes to the 2nd edition. This book was inspired by his grandfather, John Murphy Sr., who opened a Standard Oil Gas Station in the 1920s. The station was on the Chicago's west side at the start of Route 66. He dedicates this book to mechanics, collectors, restorers, gas jockeys, hobbyists, race fans and car guys everyhwhere.
