This is the saga of a young researcher, brought up by his widowed mother amidst struggles & strives, who had fallen in love with his long time class mate and both had decided to unite in marital bondage but circumstances betrayed them. He left the place of his origin and moved to north-east of India along with his mother. He came in contact with a highly educated young lady, an East-Pakistan refugee having lost all her family members; and developed a liking for her and ultimately married her. They had a wonderful life and a son keeping his mother happy & satisfied. The untimely demise of mother caused a void which she filled with her services to the underprivileged people located in distant villages of North-East. The melodious life of the couple for over thirty years came to an abrupt end with accidental demise of the lady during her village tour which shattered and devastated the life of the researcher who sold all his property to establish a welfare trust for the cause of the people she had been serving, in the name of his beloved wife. He at length, came back to his place of origin where circumstances took him back to the old classmate to think of a new life once again.
