My brain is stuck
Now I'm a poet
And I should know it
It's tough sometimes
To find the rhymes
A poem sometimes
May not have rhymes
But I eschew
That motely stew
I find free verse
To be perverse

A rhyming poem
My favorite tome
I hired a poet
But wouldn't you know it
I paid a buck
But no such luck
The poet hired
Was quickly fired
Her blackened disc
Too much to risk

Now I confess
I do digress
So, I return
To the rhyme I yearn
Without fail
I tell my tale
Through the books I muck
But, no such luck
The words all suck
And most are yuk

But what the heck
I am a wreck
