Life hasn't been easy for the two Braden boys. From the outset, they've endured one episode after another, usually ending in tragedy. Their friendships and relationships are continually challenged and, at times, tarnished by others envious of their success.



Chad, the younger brother, lives a life replete with obstacles and reversals, though he's strong enough to overcome those ever-occurring crises. Chad is different from Pat, his older brother. His many loves are exciting but always burdensome. On the other hand, Pat dedicates his life and soul to God. They share a strong family thread and brotherly love, and those appear to be the factors in reconciling their opposite careers. Oddly, they were both born on February 19, but four years apart.



Chad becomes a naval intelligence officer, cloaked in secrecy and conspiracies, always targeted by potential enemies that cause havoc to the lifestyle and freedom of society. He's up to the challenges, but he suffers the failures that accompany such a position.



As Chad awaits execution in nineteen days for the murder of his fiancée and her father, will the collective faith of the brothers be enough to ward off the gas chamber and return him to a life of service to the country? Or will he suffer death as a consequence?
