Lynn had been raised in a God fearing home but due to the loss of her entire family, she's lost her belief in the Lord. When she's left with no choice but to return to her childhood home, Lynn is convinced that her life as she knows it is over. The last thing she expects is to immediately run into one of her old childhood friends and feel instant sparks fly! Then, just when she begins to think that her new life in her hometown might not be so bad, she learns that Tanner is actually the youth pastor at the church they'd grown up in. The last thing that Lynn wants is to be dragged back into the church, but if she wants to continue to see Tanner, she won't have a choice. On top of what Lynn is going through, Tanner has his own issues. His faith had been starting to slip after the woman he'd been dating had left him for a more worldly man. He'd spent a lot of time on his knees praying for a sign from above that he was meant to stay on as a leader in the church... and then, the girl he'd always had a crush on came back to town the very next day. He sees Lynn's return as God's answer to his prayer as soon as he learns about all that she's lost and her own slip in faith. He knows that she was brought back into his world for him to witness to and he has every intention of doing just that at the same time as exploring the wonderful joy he feels whenever they spent any time together. With a little luck and God on their sides, maybe both of them will realize that the other was Heaven sent.
