When Abigail Stone and her family travel to the Hopi Reservation, they expect to mingle with the natives, tour the mesas, and sample some of the local cuisine. But mysterious voices upend their plans by sweeping Abigail into a series of astral journeys she cannot control. While her resulting visions seem trifling at first-a glimpse of her parents trekking through the Arizona desert, or the sight of herself draped in Hopi ceremonial garb-they quickly intensify, until she loses consciousness for days. Upon awakening, Abigail retreats to the Kingdom of Adehya for sanctuary, but the voices and visions follow. Soon, the contrast between reality and prophecy begins to blur, then merges to point to a grand reveal that will alter the Stone family's legacy and change Abigail's life forever.
