The Killing of Sam Luke Anthony L Dixon

The Deputy Sheriff of a small, dying old silver town is killed out back of the saloon. An unusual number of men were in the saloon just before the shooting on a quiet Thursday afternoon but all had left by the time Sam Luke died. Two months later a very, very big man arrives and begins to ask about the killing. The big man is a detective from El Paso, West Texas. Very soon things begin to happen, other men are killed and the hunt for Sam's killer becomes just one of several issues the detective is investigating.
