In the summer of 1984, childhood friends Beth and Angie, seek to fulfill their dream of putting together one of the greatest, all female hard rock bands of all time. Leaving behind their small town lives, they embark on a cross country journey to California in order to join the thriving Los Angeles music scene. Once there, they come to realize that making a dream come true is not always as easy at it seems. From shady club owners to crooked talent agents, the girls struggle to find their way with the help of new friends and band members. Can they rise above it all to become one of the hottest new bands of the decade, or will the City of Angels eat them alive?
