One of Allen's major goals has been to write a "different" type od children's book, and he has accomplished that. His books are adventurous and magical, cloaked with realism, while at the same time educational."CORDELIA" is even more unique, in that the story is written for a little baby girl who has not yet arrived! She is a little girl squirrel in the story who doesn't know how to read yet, either! This is a magical story about Cordelia, a little girl squirrel who likes hot dog buns and chicken feed.
