After twenty years apart, Lynn receives an unexpected phone call from her old high school flame. Through a series of phone calls, she discovers her former sweetheart, Adam, isn't happily married. He tells her that he envies her lifestyle because she chose to remain single and not have children. She lends a sympathetic ear and is happy to hear that he decides to stay with his wife and raise his little girl as a married unit.
