Caught in the Rain follows the early life of a black Labrador Retriever named Fleecy. Just like too many domestic animals in the world, Fleecy's journey of finding a loving home is far from perfect. Based on some true events, Fleecy's story was inspired by a real dog, named Chopper, who was rescued from the Flagler Humane Society in Palm Coast, Florida, during the summer of 2003. Throughout his early life, Fleecy had numerous homes that all affected him in some way or another. His hopes of one day having a perfect life is what gave Fleecy the strength and courage to keep his head up during very difficult times. His sweetness and certain physical qualities eventually landed Fleecy in his forever home; one that Fleecy never expected.
