The Gift D Engelbrecht

The Gift was born in my heart when I visit an orphanage in my vicinity and observe children who could not really understand what they are reading. It touched my heart as I went home asking the Lord what can I do to help them understanding the truths laid down in the Word of God. Many days I walked and pondered; there must be a way to help them. One night while sleeping I saw pictures floating around with scriptures and it hit me like a lightning bolt: Furnish a picture book. The next morning I woke up with a picture book in mind, but how do I start off? Within me a voice starts speaking. You have to gather the facts of the story you would like to deliver to your congregation, then you search for pictures where ever you can find it and bring I the story and pictures together at last, remember; use the most simple vocabulary. What a job to find the picture suiting the words, but at last; the book is finished, telling the truth about the Gift.
