This is the tale of worlds in the distant future torn between war and peace. There is Earth emerging from centuries of ignorance to face the very real existence of aliens, both the good and the bad. Foltairees symbolizes the good whereas Ultil is clearly the opposite under the leadership of Gire and then his son Gora who are equally cruel and relentless in their pursuit of complete power over the galaxy. On the other side stands Mike Translow, who is seen as an inspirational leader on his home world Foltairees. He reaches out to Earth in its time of need and tries to bring them forward into a galactic community that is dysfunctional and still facing demons of its own. Over volumes 1-3, a tale is begun with a mysterious illness wiping out a large number of Earthlings and ends with a tale of parallel universes threatening to tear apart the very fabric of space and time in a climactic battle between good and evil.
