Darcy D'Arcy, 30's, is a stockbroker living in Los Angeles. He is soon to marry his boss' daughter, Allegra. One evening, he comes down with an excruciating headache that keeps coming back with great frequency. Panic strikes Darcy's soul. Depressed by his condition he visits a psychiatrist and a witch, but they can't help him. He and Allegra are set out to rent costumes for a Halloween party at her working place. When Darcy tries on a Hamlet getup his headache immediately stops. The day after the party his boss appoints him Junior V. P. His new and unsettling problems in his life begin at this very moment.
