Fusing Musing with Rhythm and Rhyme is a collection of intriguing thoughts which the author, Marian Adams, has fused with rhythm and rhyme and then categorized under five headings: Celebrations, Contemplations, Fascinations, Observations and Ruminations, as listed in the Contents. The book certainly does not need to be read from cover to cover. Sound, in all of its many forms, music, poetry, and words, is very important to the author. For all of her life she has been involved in learning, teaching and directing music. Music and poetry are closely aligned: there are songs without words and words without a song. Alone, each has a unique beauty. The two together, as in vocal and choral works, reach a nearly heavenly perfection. All of these forms share the elements of rhythm and rhyme. The inspiration of the Holy Spirit is guiding Marian's creative talents into the realm of poetry.
