Ra, the space station built to shield Earth the day the sun went supernova, now acts as our one heat and light source. When the head engineer onboard leads a revolt, declares herself the Sun God, and rules omnipotently over the people of Earth, humanity is forced to put its trust in a small group of soldiers on a one-way trip to Ra to fight back. War-hero turned war-criminal Jae is pulled out of prison to lead this suicide mission. Her outfit, severely outnumbered and outgunned by Ra's crew, fight it out in a bloody contest for Earth's independence while Jae finds herself fighting another war with a sin from her past that has followed her up to Ra.
