Cameron ran away to Belize to live a life of seclusion on the beach. But the young physician's plans are interrupted when the locals recruit him to help track down a vampire on the western border. Accompanied by a Mayan guide and two Mennonite farmers, he explores a side of paradise he never knew: uninhabited rainforests, ancient ruins, interminable caverns.
