This book is a collection of lessons that can be used to help teach elementary-aged children the importance of giving to God from a Christian perspective. Children should be "trained up" in the way they should go, and teaching about "giving" is a very important part of that training. The 60 lessons in this book emphasize that "giving" should be done as acts of obedience and love for the Lord, and that giving can consist of money, time, or the use of talents in service to Him. I see the ultimate goal of "giving" as the harvest of souls for Jesus Christ, and the building up of His Kingdom here on earth in preparation for His return to gather up those who have trusted Him as Savior and who love and obey Him as Lord.
