All I have is NOW John Chuchman

Having spent too little of my conscious and unconscious timein the Present Moment, I now strive to do that. I am influenced by my past, but am also influenced by my futurethrough anticipation about what might happen then, along with any related fear and anxiety. So, though I know that the Future does not yet exist, my thoughts about it affect mein the NOW. The Past and the Futuredo flow together for mein the Whirlpool that is the Present Moment. I carry in me the legacy of what I did, felt, thought in the past. My anticipations, fears, anxieties about the futurestrongly affect me NOW. I seek to dispel these thoughtsby continuously telling myself that, just as any feelings I now have about events in the pastwill not change the past, fears and anxieties about the futurewill not change the future. So maybe now I can approach both my Past and my Futurewith an openness, an inclusiveness, an acceptance, by simply taking more time having a long loving look at what IS. Love, John Chu
