Jack Lilly thought he would find his calling in college. When he doesn't, he returns to his home town in eastern Kentucky to find he's faced with little opportunity. He takes a job selling cars at the local car dealership until he can figure things out. He doesn't know a thing about how business or life is run. But he is about to find out. Shortly after he starts, the daughter of the dealership's owner returns home from college, determined to help her father run the family business. Full of ideas, and having visited some of the best auto producers in the world, Lotus Lyle can see the future of the auto industry and the potential for their little dealership. But she soon learns that while she knows George Lyle as a father, she has never really seen the business side of him. And it isn't a pretty sight. He had managed for years to keep the two worlds apart, but now they were about to collide with one unsuspecting new car salesman caught right in the middle. Join Jack and Lotus as they try to make sense of their lives in midst of the turbulent and often hysterical world of car dealerships in the streamlined culture of the early 1990's.
