This book is a collection of short stories that re-live two years' worth of weekly three-minute radio broadcasts that Howard put together for his program called "Grape Stomp." I don't know if there is another person on the planet that can tie a salient link between chardonnay and Bruce Lee. I'm almost sure that no one else could ever write a story about "Big Jugs" and Assyrian kings. Master sommeliers from around the globe have considered perfect pairing of every food known to man; yet, only Howard could muse over what to drink with roadrunner meat if Wyle E. Coyote ever gets the job done.
