Grammy thought she knew everything to know about love until her beautiful granddaughter came along.

On that first day the grandmother promised she would hug her for the rest of her life-and so she did.

Hugging her as a baby was a piece of cake, but as the little beauty grew older the Grandmother's hugs became a bit...intrusive. On the soccer field, in school, at the prom and even on her job interviews! But a promise is a promise and the hugs would have to be there.

And so they were. But when it was not possible for the Grandmother to be at her side, the hugs would still be there. They'd be hugs of the heart.
