The theme was "Unbraiding the Short Story." The conference drew scholars and writers from around the globe, with the purpose of focusing entirely on the short story genre over a period of four days. As such, this collection is a representation of the quality, variety, depth, and breadth of the scholarly papers presented to this global audience.
