We stand at the precipice of a monumental change. The recent rapid development in information technologies has brought about unforseen changes in human society. An emerging global consciousness, fundamental shifts in human economies, shifting concepts of self and identities; these are just some of the changes that are staring the human society in its face. More urgently though, is how we can adapt some of our fundamental activities to adapt to the shifting societal fabric caused by the eruption of information technologies. In this book, the author examined the activity of Learning against this grand backdrop by looking at the nature of Learning and how it has been changed by the sea change in the field of information technology.
