Scott Middleton's frustration with adult evangelistic messages for children motivated him to write and illustrate a kid-friendly gospel of Jesus Christ. Good News for U is a product of Scott's 35 years of advertising and sales experience combined with Scott's own story of redemption. This parent-and-child devotional empowers parents to share the gospel of Jesus Christ by pairing scripture with simple but powerful illustrations. Playing off the letter U, the book explains how we are vessels designed by God to be filled with God's love.



Through our own free choice, however, we allow ourselves to be filled with the evils of this world. Scott's illustrations make the problem abundantly clear. And the solution is brilliantly simple: "Christ in you the hope of glory" (Colossians 1:27). The 56 illustrations in the book visualize Biblical truths and explain complicated theological terms like atonement. Children can personalize their book by coloring the illustrations.



The purpose of Good News for U is to empower parents to share the Good News through God's word and creative illustrations. Scott designed the book for parents, as he believes parents are the most influential adults in their children's lives and are therefore the best presenters of God's plan of salvation. Six years in the making, Good News for U is Scott's gift to God, and to his people.
