Publisher Marketing: Child of Darkness Child of Darkness is unlike any vampire story ever written. The story is told by a very old elven named Dominic who since his childhood has worked as a servant in a castle ruled by one of the most evil vampires ever known, Kraiden Dorstanton. The Castle Dorstanton is surrounded by a sea of rolling green pastures where in the early morning mists great battle horses are seen peacefully grazing. Though the castle appears to be a place of enchantment and beauty, its torch lit halls are patrolled by warriors and demonic creatures of all kinds. As you stand on one of the blue rose covered balconies, you'll see in the distance a battlefield where the grass is stained red from all the blood that's been spilled there. As Dominic tells his tale, he'll open the doors to the house Dorstanton; the birthplace of a new prince of darkness, Kraiden's half mortal son, Tristan Dorstanton; a name that would soon take its rightful place among the great leaders of legend. Unlike his blood thirsty father, Tristan battles for what he believes in, the love of his childhood sweetheart Alexandra Sinclair, and to save the life of his mother, Victoria Carrington who fell in love with Kraiden's brother, Maciah. The events of Tristan's life will capture your mortal curiosity and stir emotions from deep within your soul. As you get to know the many characters you'll feel as if you've known each one of them your whole life. You'll find it hard to put the book down as Dominic takes you through one thrilling chapter after another.
