The theologians and believers of Islam want the Islam recognized as a peaceful religion. But the manifestations of Islam worldwide in the last years with many thousands of people killed in the name of Islam let appear the Islam as a violent religion. Most of all terroristic attacks in the world have been executed by Muslims, which were called "Islamists". Sunnis kill Shiiites and vice versa. Sunnis kill Christians and believers of other religions. The so-called Islamists are believer of the Islam. They profess their faith to Allah. To justify their barbarous deeds they refer to the Koran. They claim that according to the Koran they are entitled to their cruel deeds. Curtisius indicates in his booklet a way to stop Islamist terrorism. Curtisius recommends that the Koran has to be revised to prevent murderous behavior of Muslims with reference to the Koran. The revision of the Koran is called by Curtisius as "Islam 3.0". The revision of the Koran should be a conjointly work of all leading theologians, Islamic legal scholars, imams and muftis. This collective work can be done in a convention with the target of Islam 3.0. The Secretary-General of the UN together with the heads of government of Islamic states could invite to this convention. In this convention the Koran is in such a way to structure that guidelines for today-life are separated from the historical parts of the Koran, in which is referred to violence and similar deeds committed in ancient times. The result of the collective work of the convention should be a revised Koran for the modern civilization, which prevents every possibility to justify violence and similar deeds with reference to the Koran. Muslims then can prove that their Koran is no source of violence any more.
