When you are in your place and do what God asks you to do, you in turn become a blessing. You can begin to pronounce blessings like Abraham did. When you bless and are blessed, you don't look to get something in return. You become a lender that has overflow. We often talk about how obedience is better than sacrifice, which is the Word of God, but there is still a great reward for those who sacrifice. Sacrifice is an act of surrendering a possession as an offering to God. It is your action to do something, even when you don't feel like it. In order to display your obedience, sometimes God asks you to sacrifice the very thing that we hold on the tightest to or do the very thing we don't want to do. One thing rest assured, whatever you do for God, He rewards so many times over. As they say, you can never beat God giving. To whom much is given much is required. There are some who are trusted with much and they will be given the more. God is looking for that faithful one.
